Resource Center

With 40+ years of experience, Resource Center operates one of the largest LGBTQIA+ community centers in the United States and is a primary HIV/AIDS service organization in North Texas. We help 60,000+ people each year through programs that address the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community and services that provide critical assistance to people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

But what sets Resource Center apart is how deeply everything is connected — and how intentionally it’s built around the people we serve. Instead of sending someone all over town, we brought our services together in one place. You can see an affirming doctor, meet with a case manager, pick up prescriptions and access fresh food in one visit just off DART's Inwood/Love Field station. 

Just as important, the care itself is affirming. And no matter what program you participate in, because our staff truly understand the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals and people living with HIV/AIDS, the attention you receive is highly personalized. For example, if a client doesn't have stable housing at the moment, the food pantry can provide them with nonperishable goods in portions that are easy to carry.

Resource Center has reached a point where our work is more than just the high-caliber affirming services we provide. It's about how all of our programming successfully works in harmony to remove barriers, build trust and ensure our community is supported at every step.
