Board Fundraising Challenge!
As a board member at North Star LGBTQ+ Community Center, I'm participating in our friendly Give OUT Day competition to see who can raise the MOST money and get the MOST donors. The stakes? Ultimate bragging rights and the honor of judging and crowning our Rising North Star at next year's drag pageant!
Why This Matters
In 2024, North Star achieved incredible milestones:
- Open for 750+ hours serving our community
- Hosted over 250 events and programs
- Expanded our reach to new community members
Your Donation Makes a Direct Impact
Every contribution supports:
- The 14th Annual Pride Cookout (June 6th)
- Our 2nd "North Star's Rising Star" drag pageant at Cocktails for a Cause (June 5th)
- Growing programs like our S.A.G.E. Youth Club, Crafty Queers, and our monthly Music Round
- Creating new programs to meet our community's needs such as Pride Playdate for children of LGBT families, Rainbow Romp dance lessons and our new young adult group.
- Maintaining our welcoming space with free WiFi, snacks, and resources.
