Welcome to my fundraising page for Richmond Triangle Players! I was first introduced to RTP by our good friends, Dan and Jim, and was immediately in awe of the fact that a relatively small community like Richmond would have such an amazing place. Over the years we came to shows, both with Dan and Jim in them and some without them (including a special flight to the east coast to see Jim in fishnets for Rocky), and loved each and every one. 

About a year ago I was asked to join the board at RTP and it has been an extremely gratifying experience. NO OTHER VENUE in the Mid Atlantic region gives voice to the types of stories that are told by RTP. We work to support Queer artists, young and old, by providing a space and the resources to tell stories that may have no other place to be heard or seen. 

When you enter the doors at RTP you are likely to feel the full spectrum of emotions through both laughter and tears. You may feel uncomfortable at times or laughing so hard you almost drop your drink on the floor. But one thing is for sure, you will always feel welcome and always in a safe space. 

Spaces like ours have come under attack in recent years and rescources more and more scarce. But we can never give up on places like RTP so that everyone can continue to be heard, be seen and do so in a space that is safe to do so.
