25 Again

Becky here! I'm turning "25 again". I'm a founding board member at Finn's Place and have seen many community members slowly transform into their true selves each time they visit the space.

I recently survived a near-death seizure experience, so the theme of self-transformation and rebirth is even closer to my heart. 

As part of my fundraiser, I want to support Flamboyant Ventures hosted on the first and third Thursday at Finn's. The ability for individuals to try on new identities, names, and skills in community with others has been such a great way to watch individuals find their true selves and build confidence. Watching someone who used to have trouble speaking up bring friends to join them in their adventures shows the possibility of growth that's possible through supportive spaces.
