The Center is the heart of the region’s LGBTQ community ̶ a one-stop hub that provides:
Safe Space: A welcoming and visible place that brings the community together for resources, support, connections and programming.
Programs and Services: Supportive programs, educational opportunities, and health services that advance the overall wellbeing of LGBTQ people of all ages.
Advocacy: Leadership, cultural competency training, media representation and collaborations that aim to improve the quality of life in Northeast Ohio.
Social Events: Year-round gatherings and cultural programs that unite, honor and celebrate the LGBTQ community.
The Center exists to serve the LGBTQ community of Northeast Ohio. All are welcome, including allies. The organization does offer audience-specific programming for senior citizens, young adults and youth. The Center is in a state of continuous quality improvement to ensure its programming meets the needs of the community. The Center also serves the community as a whole through the advocacy work it conducts outside its physical location.
The Center serves as the public face and advocate for the LGBTQ community. Through leadership within the community, cultural competency training outside the community, media representation and collaborations, the organization aims to improve the quality of life in Northeast Ohio. In addition, The Center has the important role of social connector, hosting year-round gatherings, public events and cultural programs that unite, honor and celebrate the LGBTQ community.
