The Center is one of the oldest LGBT community centers in the nation providing programs and services for 40 years.
One of the largest HIV testing centers in Central Florida, The Center does upwards of 600 HIV tests per month. The Center is the only agency in Central Florida doing HIV testing 7 days a week for 12 hours per day. As well, The Center does Hepatitis C and STD testing 5 days a week.
In addition, The Center provides counseling GED classes, a cyber center, legal clinics, and space for over 25 support groups including AA, NA, Youth Groups, Newly Diagnosed Support, Transgender Groups and so many more. In 2016 funding was secured to purchase a mobile testing van which travels throughout Central Florida providing HIV testing and awareness.
The Center was the first not for profit agency on the scene of the Pulse Tragedy and was called out by then President Obama as "Ground Zero for Community Healing". A community center-based organization, The Center is a well-respected organization within its community working with community leaders, business partners, and collaborative partners to ensure a safe and well informed community on subjects and issues.
