APLA Health

A nonprofit organization

At APLA Health, we are committed to helping not only people who have been affected by HIV/AIDS but also the low-income LGBTQ+ community and others who did not have access to quality health care. For over 35 years, we have fought to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We are doing this for our lives and for our future.

But we can’t do it without you. Your generosity brings health and hope to vulnerable people across L.A. County. In short, your gift saves lives. Please help us fight for a healthy community!

We started in 1983 as AIDS Project Los Angeles; we were the local answer to the rising AIDS epidemic. Today, we are at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic as we continue to offer high-quality healthcare and support regardless of race, ethnicity, documentation status, sexuality, gender identity, age, income, insurance, HIV status or zip code. Since our humble beginnings, we have advocated at all levels of the government for positive policy change and have been providing necessary care for the most vulnerable populations. Today, we operate six Federally Qualified Health Centers across LA County, providing a care network of culturally competent services aimed at health equity through a holistic wellness approach.
