The Freedom Center for Social Justice is dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities with a focus on trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) individuals. For over 15 years, we have created spaces for healing, advocacy, and empowerment through trans-led initiatives that center equity, inclusion, and resilience.

Our flagship program, the Trans Faith and Action Network (TFAAN) Retreat, is a transformative gathering that offers workshops, community-building, and critical resources that address faith, health, housing, and identity. TFAAN brings TGNC individuals together to share experiences, build power, and access tools for thriving.

Beyond the retreat, we work year-round to provide advocacy and support for TGNC people navigating systems of discrimination and exclusion. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to live safely and authentically in a world that celebrates who they are.
