For over 9 years, The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood has served Tran and Nonbinary patients (16 and up) through our gender affirming hormone treatment program. Since our beginning, we have served over 4,000 patients in this program and demand continues to grow for our services especially in the light of recent closures of gender affirming care clinics and bans on gender affirming care in the south. Virginia is the only state in the South that does not have any bans on gender affirming care.

During this critical moment, we are committed to offering safe and welcoming care for this community as well as financial support as we are able to.

At VLPP, we believe that no patient should have to choose between securing essential life affirming healthcare, like hormones, and paying for groceries, an electric bill, or rent. As patients continue to face rising gas, food, housing prices, and increased costs of other survival needs, our financial support program remains in high demand. This fund goes directly to our Trans and Nonbinary patients seeking care.

Your donation will continue to ensure that Trans and Nonbinary people get access to the life saving care that they deserve and be able to continue to live rich and authentic lives. At VLPP we believe that everyone, of every gender, deserves bodily autonomy and self determination.
