Your support means that Trans and Non-Binary people will access the medically necessary care that they need and deserve. Due to the rising cost of living, gender affirming care bans in the South, and cuts to Title X, our Trans Health Fund is almost completely gone. We NEED your support today!

Our goal this year is to raise $15,000 and we know that we can do it with your support! Since we began our Trans Health Fund in 2021, we given over $35,000 in financial support to our patients because of donors like you! We could NOT do this without you!

For over 9 years, The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood has served patients through our gender-affirming hormone treatment (GAHT) program. Since our beginning we have served over 3,500 patients in our GAHT program and demand continues to grow for our services! In addition to hormone therapy, we also provided many other services to Trans and Nonbinary individuals. We believe strongly that Trans health is health care for the whole self!

At VLPP, we believe that no patient should have to choose between securing essential life affirming healthcare, like hormones, and paying for groceries, an electric bill, or rent. As patients continue to face rising gas, food, housing prices, and increased costs of other survival needs, our financial support program remains in high demand. Transgender and non-binary people continue to withstand discrimination and unprecedented attacks against their bodily autonomy, especially here in the South. Virginia is the only state in the South that does not have any bans on gender affirming care. During this critical moment, we are committed to offering safe and welcoming care for this community as well as financial support as we are able to.
