About Give OUT Day

Give OUT Day is the only national day of giving specifically for LGBTQ+ nonprofits—and it’s a powerful reminder of what we can do when we show up for each other. Every year, thousands of people across the country come together to support LGBTQ+ organizations of all sizes, working on everything from housing, health, and legal advocacy to arts, education, and community-building.

Since 2013, Give OUT Day has helped raise millions of dollars for hundreds of nonprofits that serve and celebrate LGBTQ+ people. These are the organizations fighting for equity, creating safer spaces, and helping our communities thrive with dignity and joy. Many are small and grassroots. Many are led by and for trans people, BIPOC folks, and others at the margins. All of them need support to keep going—and growing.

Give OUT Day is more than just a fundraiser. It’s a movement of generosity that amplifies LGBTQ+ voices and leadership. It’s a way to uplift the work being done every day across the country, often quietly and with limited resources. And it’s a chance for all of us to be part of something bigger: a movement rooted in care, celebration, and collective power.
