For 22 years, the Golden Crown Literary Society has worked to celebrate, elevate, and preserve sapphic literature and the voices behind it. Through awards, education, mentorship, community programming, and our annual conference, GCLS creates spaces where sapphic authors, readers, and storytellers can connect, thrive, and be seen.

At a time when LGBTQ+ stories and books are increasingly challenged and censored, our mission matters more than ever. Stories save lives. Representation matters. Community matters. And every reader deserves the chance to find themselves reflected in the pages of a book.
