Why you should support JCS’s LGBTQ+ Programs on Give OUT Day

Today, there are still many in the LGBT+ community that are disenfranchised and experience systemic discrimination. JCS has programs for members of the LGBT community of all ages including 3 decades working with individuals and families, as well as LGBTQ youth in the school system.

•    JCS provides specialized individual and group counseling to LGBTQIA youth who are at risk of depression and suicide, substance abuse, homelessness, dropping out of school, and victimization by bullies.

•    JCS’ Lambda Living On-Line Program offers a variety of programs through a computer portal for those LGBT Seniors who are homebound, without transportation, or choose to participate from home.

•    JCS provides individual, couples, family, and group counseling to address challenges facing LGBTQIA persons of any age. 

•    JCS offers in-person Social activities such as Group Outings * Music, Art & Theater Performances * Book Club * Social Lunches * Lambda Living Lounge at Pride events for our Active Agers
