For over 106 years, Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) has been a lifeline for individuals and families in need, providing help, healing, and hope to people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Guided by our mission of strengthening lives through compassionate services, JCS addresses the most pressing needs in our community through four main pillars of support:
- Food Security – Through the Kosher Food Bank, meal deliveries, and nutrition programs, JCS ensures that individuals, families, and seniors facing hardship have access to healthy food. By relieving the burden of hunger, we provide dignity, comfort, and stability for those in need.
- Case Management – JCS case managers provide personalized support and advocacy to help individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. From housing and healthcare access to financial assistance and benefits enrollment, we connect clients with vital resources and create pathways to long-term stability.
- Information & Referral – As the home of 211 Miami, JCS offers a 24/7 lifeline for community members seeking help. Trained specialists guide callers to the right resources for food, housing, mental health, financial assistance, and more—ensuring no one faces crisis alone.
- Mental Health Counseling – JCS provides compassionate, confidential counseling for children, teens, adults, and families. Our licensed clinicians address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, making quality mental health care accessible to all.
- In addition, JCS proudly offers inclusive programs for the LGBTQ+ community, refugee resettlement support, and culturally sensitive services available in English, Spanish, and Creole.
Your support on Give Miami Day allows JCS to continue meeting the evolving needs of our community, ensuring that no one is left behind. Together, we can make South Florida a stronger, more compassionate place for all.
