LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education advances effective leadership in the realm of post-secondary education, supports professional development of LGBTQ leaders in that sector, and provides education and advocacy regarding LGBTQ issues within the global academy and for the public at large.

LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education is the only national organization dedicated to developing LGBTQ leadership and advocacy in higher education. Our institutional and individual members come from around the United States. They are leaders and decision-makers–from Presidents and Provosts, to Deans and Department Chairs. LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education provides programs and services that help our members provide effective leadership while remaining their true, authentic selves. 

After a year of discussion and planning, we are launching two new programs in 2024. Our webinar series kicked off in the spring, and we expect to hold eight or ten sessions each year. Our mentoring program will also begin this year–in the past we were only able to offer mentoring at our annual Leadership Institute. Now we will be offering mentoring on request throughout the year. Your support will be essential to supporting our new programs and making them successful.
