At Love Doesn’t Hurt, we show up for people navigating some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives when safety, stability, and dignity are at risk.

Every day, we work alongside individuals who are fleeing harm, facing housing instability, or trying to rebuild after experiencing violence. Many of the people we serve encounter barriers that make it harder to access support, including discrimination, lack of safe housing options, and limited access to affirming care.

We exist to close those gaps.

Through our programs, we provide immediate, practical support like housing, transportation, food assistance, and basic needs while also walking alongside participants as they work toward long-term stability. Whether someone needs a safe place to stay for the night or support securing permanent housing, we meet them where they are and move at the pace of their safety and readiness.

Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, meaning we prioritize choice, trust, and respect in every interaction. We don’t just provide services we build relationships that empower individuals to regain control over their lives.

In the past year, Love Doesn’t Hurt has supported individuals and families by:

• Providing housing to ensure immediate safety
• Assisting with rental support to prevent homelessness
• Offering transportation to critical appointments, including court, medical care, and employment
• Distributing food, hygiene items, and essential resources
• Connecting participants to legal, employment, and wellness services through trusted community partnerships

But the need continues to grow.
