Can you help Minnesota's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization protect queer and trans rights?

For over 35 years, OutFront Minnesota has advocated for more inclusive LGBTQ+ policies at the state legislature, built more inclusive school environments for LGBTQ+ youth, and provided a helpline and support to LGBTQ+ folks experiencing violence.

Now is a difficult time. Our helpline calls DOUBLED in 2025, and LGBTQ+ students’ rights and safety are under fire in schools. More and more anti-LGBTQ+ bills are being proposed locally and nationally.

But OutFront Minnesota is ready for this moment and here to support LGBTQ+ Minnesotans. 

This year, we went to a school GSA to help LGBTQ+ students talk about the issues they were facing. During this meeting, one student named Michael was able to speak up for the first time about the homophobia and racism they saw in the hallways.

Afterward, Michael said, "Sharing at this meeting made me feel like I was less alone and that people cared."

This year our Give to the Max Day goal is $35,000--enough to provide students like Michael with our annual Youth Summit event. At Youth Summit, hundreds of LGBTQ+ students gather from across the state to have these critical conversations, build community, and celebrate their identities. These kinds of events are lifesaving during a time when the lives and rights of LGBTQ+ youth are being cruelly debated.
