Pomona Pride Center Inc dba Pomona Valley Pride

Since 2019, the Pomona Pride Center has existed to provide safe and inclusive spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Pomona Valley region. The Pomona Pride Center is one of the very few LGBTQIA+ spaces in the Pomona Valley Area and the Inland Empire. The global pandemic greatly affected the efforts of the Pomona Pride Center by taking us completely online and away from the spaces within Downtown Pomona, where we serve much of our population.

Through funding from Tri-City Mental Health Center, we will host our first annual Pomona Valley Youth Empowerment Summit. Through this summit, we will offer a series of workshops to youth from the Pomona Valley Region and who live around the Pomona Valley area. This summit will have workshops geared towards mental health, education, career readiness, and various LGBTQIA+ topics. This program is intended to be a safe and inclusive space for youth and all the area. However, we need your help. 

The mission of the Pomona Pride Center is to enhance and sustain the well-being of the LGBTQIA+ and allied communities by providing vital social and emotional support services, educational programming, and advocacy.
