• Realize our bold, new strategic direction in which we are committing to dramatically scale our impact for LGBTQ+ elders everywhere by reimagining and reengineering how we do our work
• Conduct vigorous federal, state and local advocacy to combat the staggering number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills that have been introduced in states this year and to promote policies and laws that improve the health and economic well-being of LGBTQ+ older people nationwide
• Educate aging providers through SAGECare to improve the quality of aging services for older LGBTQ+ people nationwide – creating more responsive services in nursing homes, independent living facilities, and other settings our elders depend on
• Support LGBTQ+ elders’ financial wellness with SAGECents, a nationally recognized app that has helped over 2,600 LGBTQ+ elders increase their savings, reduce their debt, and improve their credit scores
• Fund innovative projects like SAGECollab, our partnership model that works with community-based organizations in every region of our country—from urban neighborhoods to rural counties—to expand LGBTQ+ aging programs and empower LGBTQ+ elders on a national scale
• Serve our community's older people by providing virtual and in-person programming at five SAGE Centers, including free or low-cost meals, support groups, exercise activities, care management services, movie nights and more
• Offer immediate support, understanding, and connection in times of stress through SAGE x HearMe, a mental wellness app that allows texting one-on-one with listeners trained in LGBTQ+ and aging issues
• Ensure that millions of older LGBTQ+ people can live in safe and welcome housing – including a groundbreaking partnership that built New York City’s very first affordable, LGBTQ+-friendly elder residences
