We Are One Recovery

We Are One Recovery is proud to be Tennessee's first and only LGBTQ+ recovery program and sober living residence, dedicated to providing LGBTQ+ individuals and allies with a safe, therapeutic place to live - free of alcohol, drugs, and persecution. 

Our mission is critical, as the queer community is disproportionately affected by substance abuse, addiction, incarceration, and homelessness, compounded by inequitable access to appropriate health care services. This stark reality underscores the severe lack of resources available to our community in Tennessee. We need your support to change this!

At We Are One Recovery, we foster an inclusive, client-centered community grounded in spiritual principles. We offer a judgment-free, non-violent space where individuals can heal, recover, and rebuild active, productive lives. Through our comprehensive approach, we teach essential life skills and healthy coping mechanisms that empower individuals to set and exceed their goals, establishing thriving and meaningful lives. With deep empathy, guiding integrity, and loving compassion, we inspire individuals to elevate their quality of life and reach their maximum potential. Our vision is clear: no addict, anywhere, should die from addiction, and no LGBTQ+ person should ever lose their life to discrimination.

As a small but mighty grassroots non-profit, We Are One Recovery operates solely through the generosity of volunteers and donors. We provide our clients with housing and a broad range of free support services, including therapeutic, educational, domestic, transportation, financial, and career assistance. Your donations enable us to continue offering these critical services free of charge and help us expand our program to meet the growing needs of our community.
