Fiesta Youth

Our goal is to empower youth to build a future where ALL people are accepted, affirmed, and loved as they are. We create safe spaces for meetings, events, trainings, and programming that aims to support our youth and grow together as a community. Every young person deserves a place where they can show up exactly as they are—and know they are accepted, affirmed, celebrated, and loved.

We create a supportive community through support groups for children, teenagers, young adults and parents, We also provide educational outreach and support throughout the year, including HIV/AIDS education. We also host social events to celebrate important coming-of-age events for our young people, including the largest, most welcoming and affirming Prom in all of south/central Texas. We also field the only competitive LGBTQIA+ youth robotics team in central Texas.

At Fiesta Youth, we create those spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth, teenagers, young adults, and their families across San Antonio and South/Central Texas. Through support groups, educational outreach, HIV/AIDS education, community events, and youth-centered programming, we help young people build confidence, find community, develop meaningful connections, and imagine a future where they can thrive as their authentic selves.  We also host social events to celebrate important coming-of-age events for our young people, including the largest, most welcoming and affirming Prom in all of south/central Texas. We also field the only competitive LGBTQIA+ youth robotics team in central Texas.

For many LGBTQIA+ young people, having an affirming community can make a meaningful difference. Fiesta Youth provides spaces where youth don't have to hide who they are or wonder whether they belong. They can meet other young people with shared experiences, connect with supportive adults, access education and resources, explore their interests, celebrate milestones, and simply have the opportunity to be young.

Our goal for The Big Give is $5,000, and every gift helps Fiesta Youth continue providing free programming and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families. Your support makes an immediate impact by helping us offer youth support groups, family resources, educational outreach, HIV/AIDS education, social events, and other programs at no cost to the youth and families we serve. Your gift helps keep our programs free, our spaces welcoming, and our community strong.

Who We Are

Our organization serves LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning) teens, young adults, and their allies. Our hope is to empower youth to build a future where ALL people are accepted and loved as they are. In this way, our youth may become successful and contributing members of the community.
