GALA Choruses, Inc.

GALA Choruses, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association of more than 200 member choruses across the Americas, and their 15,000+ singers. We assist emerging choruses and facilitate education and networking opportunities for established groups. We are dedicated to helping all our choruses operate more effectively, both as artistic entities and as community organizations. And we are committed to using our collective voice to advance LGBTQ+ rights.

Currently, GALA Choruses is working to sustain our member choruses in their communities. We're raising awareness of LGBTQ youth issues such as homelessness and suicide, and we're reaching out to groups in nations where it is especially dangerous for LGBTQ people to be who they are. 

GALA Choruses’ signature event is our quadrennial Festival, which brings together more than 130 choruses and 8,000 singers for the world’s largest LGBTQ+ performing arts event.  The next GALA Festival will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in July 2028
