The IGLTA Foundation empowers a more inclusive and equitable future for LGBTQ+ travelers worldwide. Through education, research, and leadership development, we support communities, businesses, and destinations in creating safe and welcoming travel experiences for all. By investing in the next generation of LGBTQ+ tourism leaders and advocating for global inclusion, we ensure that LGBTQ+ voices are represented and celebrated in every corner of the travel industry.

Vision:

Founded in 2012, the IGLTA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association, and a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We envision a world where LGBTQ+ travelers can explore freely and safely, regardless of geography, identity, or background.

Our programs uplift underserved voices, support LGBTQ+ tourism entrepreneurship in emerging markets, and provide critical research and education that drives global progress. Together, with the support of donors and allies, we are building a travel industry that not only welcomes LGBTQ+ people, but champions them.
