LGBTQ SAVES

Every LGBTQ+ young person deserves to know they are valued, supported, and never alone.

LGBTQ SAVES works to reduce the risk factors that contribute to LGBTQ+ youth suicide by creating safe, affirming spaces where young people can build meaningful connections, access trusted resources, and find a community that celebrates them for who they are. Through free peer support programs, family engagement, social events, leadership opportunities, and referrals to affirming services, we help youth replace isolation with belonging and hope.

Our programs are offered at no cost because we believe financial barriers should never prevent a young person from accessing support. Last year, it cost an average of just $135 to provide a full year of LGBTQ SAVES programming and support for one young person.

Your gift creates opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth to connect, belong, and thrive:

$35 gives one young person the opportunity to attend a free community event like our annual Youth Pride Picnic, where they can enjoy a day of celebration, resources, meals, and connection without worrying about the cost.

$50 helps provide meals, supplies, and activities that make our weekly programs welcoming and accessible.

$135 provides an average year of free LGBTQ SAVES programming and support for one LGBTQ+ young person.

$500 helps us expand free programming, train volunteers, and reach even more youth and families throughout North Texas.
