LGBTQ SAVES

LGBTQ SAVES saves lives by providing youth with a place to feel socially, emotionally, and physically safe and supported. Since 2010, we’ve empowered LGBTQ youth to grow in confidence, build leadership skills, and make a lasting impact in their communities. Many go on to pursue higher education and return to mentor others—creating a beautiful cycle of support and resilience.

This Give OUT Day, we’re raising funds to provide $1,000 scholarships to LGBTQ youth who are continuing their education at local colleges, universities, or trade schools. We currently have an estimated 40 active members planning to enroll this fall—and with your help, we can support as many of them as possible.

These scholarships are more than financial aid—they are a message that our youth are seen, valued, and worthy of investment.

🏳️‍🌈 Scholarship Eligibility:

LGBTQ SAVES scholarships are awarded to active participants and volunteers in our programs who:

• Identify as LGBTQ+
• Are graduating high school or currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school
• Have contributed to LGBTQ SAVES through participation, leadership, or volunteerism
• Demonstrate a commitment to building inclusive communities

💖 How Your Gift Helps:

• $1,000 – Fully funds a scholarship for one student
• $500 – Covers books or housing deposits
• $100 – Supports supplies or transportation needs
• Any amount – Helps us say “yes” to more students
