Founded in 2008, The Virginia Anti-Violence Project (VAVP) has been at the forefront of LGBTQ+ advocacy and support in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our journey began with a shared commitment to combatting discrimination and violence against LGBTQ+ individuals, and over the years, we have evolved into a dynamic force for change.

Our Services:

1. Support for Survivors: We offer a safe space and confidential support for LGBTQ+ individuals who have experienced violence or discrimination. Our crisis helpline, counseling services, and survivor advocacy programs provide survivors with the care and resources they need.
