Guide to Your First

Give OUT Day Campaign

Congratulations on running your first Give OUT Day campaign!

For some of you, this may be your organization’s first time ever participating in the nation’s only and largest giving day to support LGBTQ+ causes. For others, you may be a new fundraiser tasked with running a campaign at an organization that has participated in the past. Either way, we’re glad to welcome you… and hope this beginner’s guide will help you get off to a good start!

To help make sure you have everything you need to have a successful Give OUT campaign, we’ve put together a quick guide to get your first campaign up and running. Ready? Let’s go!

Setting yourself up as an administrator on GiveOUTDay.org.

Before you can start editing your organization’s GiveOUTDay.org page, you’ll need to gain access to the platform as an organization administrator.

To claim your organization, follow one of the following steps:

  • Visit GiveOUTDay.org/search and look for your nonprofit. Click on your organization’s page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click “Manage this organization.” You’ll be notified via email once you’ve been approved to manage your nonprofit or school’s page by an existing administrator.
  • If your organization has run Give OUT campaigns in the past and already has an organization administrator, you may ask that individual to add you as a fellow administrator. They can do so by navigating to “Settings” and then “Admins.”
  • If you know the direct URL to your organization’s Give OUT page, you can also type that into your browser, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click “Manage this organization.” Again, you’ll be notified via email once you’ve been approved to manage your nonprofit or school’s page.

If your organization is not yet listed on GiveOUTDay.org, no worries—we look forward to welcoming you! Please email support@mightycause.com and let them know you’d like to add your nonprofit or school to GiveOUTDay.org, then follow the steps they provide.
