Rhina's Fundraiser for ONA

Dear friends,

I am supporting this fundraiser because faith, spirituality and being queer are important intersections in my life.

I have lead Ministerio Latino since 2011 because I saw the need for a space that welcomed queerness and the desire to belong to a community of faith. I became a pastor through the United Church of Christ. The Open and Affirming Coalition (ONA) is the network of churches in my denomination that are embracing of the LGBTQ Community. Our work is more important than ever in a world that is predicating hate against LGBTQ folks in the name of Christianity. ONA continues to be a beacon of hope telling others that divinity is much vaster and inclusive than what Christian Nationalism is saying.
