Together We Rise

I am supporting San Diego Pride to play a part in ensuring the continuation of over thirty year-round programs which served nearly 73,000 people last year(in addition to the 350,000 parade and festival attendees). San Diego Pride has been instrumental in my own growth and development as a leader and as a person. The organization is committed to building up folks and building a bench of queer leadership in San Diego and beyond. 

San Diego Pride is personal to me. I have been a volunteer for now six SD Prides in six different departments. I now have the privilege and honor of serving as the Parade Manager and Ambassador Liaison. I have made lifelong friendships and have developed a great chosen family. At San Diego Pride 2019, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, my partner (now fiance) proposed to be on the main stage before headliner Melissa Etheridge closed out the festival.
