A.B.O. Comix Fundraiser for Queer Prisoners!

This Give Out Day, A.B.O. Comix is celebrating 4+ years uplifting the voices of LGBTQ+ prisoners through art. Since our founding, we have been committed to publishing yearly anthologies of the amazing art that our contributors make while they are incarcerated in facilities across the country. And since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have astronomically increased our output of published works by incarcerated LGBTQ+ as well as our outside volunteer network. As of this writing, we have published two anthologies instead of one during this year-long cycle. In addition, we have published four solo works by members of our A.B.O. family, with four more slated to be published in the next few months. Our network on the inside is steadily growing, so we are looking at publishing another two editions of A Queer Prisoner's Comix anthology since we have more than enough submissions to fill one book! We are also developing a podcast that will feature in-depth conversations between our contributors and A.B.O. Comix Director, Casper Cendre. New ideas are coming to us every day, and your support makes them possible. The impact of the pandemic has meant that we have been unable to attend the conventions, zine fests and other events that help sustain us and raise awareness throughout the year.
