For more than 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of Gay For Good, and today, as Executive Director, I’m especially proud to serve and support this community.

To me, Pride has always been about more than a celebration. Pride is visibility. Pride is community. Pride is showing up. Pride is putting our values into action.

That’s what Gay For Good does.

We bring LGBTQ+ people and allies together to volunteer, serve, and make a tangible difference in the communities we call home. Since 2008, G4G volunteers have completed more than 3,400 service projects across the country—and right here in Long Beach, we proudly partner with local nonprofits to lend our time, energy, and hearts to causes that matter.

At a moment when there is so much noise about what Pride is—or isn’t—I’m proud to stand behind a vision of Pride that is grounded in community, generosity, inclusion, and action.

This is Pride with purpose.
This is Pride in action.
This is the Pride I believe in. 🌈
