Children's After School Arts (CASA)

A Note from Leslie Einhorn, Founder & Executive Director of CASA:

When I started CASA 23 years ago, I had a dream of creating a space where kids, families, and educators, could come together to celebrate all of our intersectional identities and build a vibrant and warm community. On this Giving Tuesday, I am marveling at how far we’ve come. 

At CASA, we believe that each child deserves to have space to be themselves. This means rocking out to karaoke at Friday Cabaret, fierce games of bingo in the bungalow, and running freely on the yard. Creating these safe spaces--where kids get to be exactly who they are is part of our social justice mission.

CASA depends on the generosity of our extended community. We need your support to keep tuition affordable and to continue offering rich programming to our ever-growing CASA family. We now serve over 300 students and are offering more full scholarships than ever before!  

As the end of the year approaches, I hope you’ll consider making a donation to CASA to support our efforts.  Here are some ideas on how you can support CASA's play space:

$39 covers a six pack of soccer balls

$70 covers a 12 pack of basketballs

$400 covers sidewalk chalk & bubbles for a year

$8000 covers ALL outdoor supplies for the year
