Nat’s Fundraiser for Trans Lifeline!!!

I’m so honored to be hosting a fundraiser for Trans Lifeline!!!   I know it’s been a really challenging time for folks, and they’re getting more calls than ever. Trans Lifeline is a trans-led organization that offers life-saving peer support for trans folks in crisis (literally all the operators are also trans!!) Their crisis hotline serves as a community alternative to policing by providing mental health support and crisis counseling to trans people - aka fewer 911 calls and fewer lives endangered. Trans Lifeline also has an awesome microgrants program that provides trans people money to legally change their name and gender, and gives specialized support to trans people who are incarcerated or detained. You can read more here (link.) The majority of their funding comes from individual donations, and 75% of the money they receive is allocated to BIPOC applicants.
