I love working at Equality Federation because I believe fueling the movement on the ground in the states is how we win equality and justice for all LGBTQ people.

LGBTQ organizations are definitely in need right now. When quarantine orders started around the country, my colleagues and I immediately shifted our work to help our members figure out how to do LGBTQ advocacy, organizing, and fundraising remotely. I started co-convening the development staff at our 40+ member organizations for biweekly brainstorming sessions to figure out how to raise money in a time like this. Nearly all of them had to cancel prides, fundraisers, and other events they rely on to keep the doors open.
