Give Out Day for Great Lakes Bay Pride

Great Lakes Bay Pride has continued to make great progress on a number of our growth initiatives introduced last year. 

COLLABORATIVE NETWORK

Over twenty regional partners have completed an initial survey to better understand the programs and services supporting the LGBTQ+ community in the region.

INCLUSIVE ONLINE DIRECTORY SYSTEM

We’re building a robust online directory to connect LGBTQ+ individuals and allies with inclusive-vetted businesses, service providers, non-profits, and program delivery systems offered in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Our committee has worked diligently on this project and we look forward to introducing the system soon. 

CENTERS FEASIBILITY STUDY

We’re in the midst of conducting a professional feasibility study to identify needs and explore options to create Great Lakes Bay Pride Centers. Our goal is to develop functional, safe spaces where the LGBTQ+ and ally community can drop in, utilize resources, participate in groups, socialize, learn, and grow. We’ll soon outline a structure for generating financial support to achieve our goals.
