FORK'S TRANSLIFELINE JUNETEENTH FUNDRAISER

"Trans Lifeline is a trans-led organization that connects trans people to the community, support, and resources they need to survive and thrive. Our Hotline is the only peer-support service that operates across the U.S. and Canada where all the operators are trans. We are also unique in that we never ask the police to intervene in the lives of our callers unless the caller asks us to. Of course, we know that some problems can't be solved by emotional support alone. That's why our Microgrants department gives trans people money to legally change their name and/or gender alongside specialized support for trans people who are incarcerated or detained.

June 2021 is milestone month for Trans Lifeline: we're prioritizing Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in our Microgrants program and we're preparing to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Spanish-language services on our Hotline.
