There are several nonprofits that serve the LGBTQ+ community and many that serve the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community, but there are very few that serve both. Prism Foundation provides scholarships, grants, and emergency financial aid to the LGBTQ+ AANHPI community.
Prism’s reach is significant. In 2024, Prism awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 13 outstanding LGBTQ+ AANHPI students across the country. Prism also disbursed $29,000 in grants to organizations and projects that empower the LGBTQ+ API community.
This month, I’m requesting $10 donations to Prism Foundation’s #GiveInMay campaign. The organization that brings in the highest number of donors will win a cash prize of $5,000. One SINGLE donation of $10 counts toward the unique donor goal. ❤️🏳️🌈
