$350 goal
This Pride Month, I’m raising money for QWOCMAP, which provides FREE programs for LBTQ+ people of color, including the Filmmaker Training Program. QWOCMAP is trying to raise $5,000 on Give OUT Day to support a filmmaking workshop for people with disabilities. Your donation will be doubled thanks to a matching gift!
In this moment of a pandemic and violence against Black, Indigenous, and migrant communities, we need a way to boldly shout for our lives.
It would mean a lot to me if you made a donation, because I know firsthand how transformative the filmmaker program is. QWOCMAP’s video production workshop changed my life by leading me to a new creative pursuit (screenwriting) and professional vocation (eLearning and instructional video development).
My campaign is a part of Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community. All donations during all of Pride Month, from June 1 to June 30, count toward my goal. QWOCMAP could earn thousands in additional prize money if they get the most donors! A gift of $20 in celebration of QWOCMAP’s 20th anniversary can really make a difference. Thank you!
