Most of you have heard the news that in-person Pride will be held virtually this year as San Diego Pride joins the over 220 Prides who have had to shift, postpone, or cancel in order to ensure our community’s safety from COVID-19. In addition to being celebrations of life and diversity, the parade and festival are the largest single-source of funding which San Diego Pride utilizes to to provide critical education, advocacy, and LGBTQ services to our community all year long (learn more here).
To supplement the loss of this funding, The San Diego Pride Board of Directors invites you to team up with us as we raise money to protect these critical LGBTQ programs.
Composed of leaders in the LGBTQ+ community, all San Diego Pride Board members serve as volunteers tasked with governance of the organization. Several current members of the Board have volunteered with Pride since its inception as a 501(c)3. As a Board, we work hard to support the staff as San Diego Pride serves our Black, Latinx, Military, Trans, APIMEDA, and LGBTQ youth community throughout the year.
