Mancini's Theatre Rhino Pride Fundraiser

Hi friends,

As many of you know, I am so proud to have joined the Board of Directors at Theatre Rhinoceros — the oldest continuously operating queer theatre in America — right here in the Castro, my home for the last 30 years, the 'hood that allowed me to become the queer man I am today and the heart of queer San Francisco.

I joined The Rhino to reconnect with the theatre world I love and to give back to the community that shaped me. 

Supporting The Rhino is about preserving queer stories, creating space for bold voices, and keeping our cultural legacy alive.

I know asking for or being asked for support can feel awkward—but right now, with shrinking arts funding and growing attacks on marginalized voices, it matters more than ever. 

Theatre Rhinoceros has uplifted LGBTQ+ artists and told powerful, necessary stories since 1977. Let’s make sure it continues.
