HELP! I need as many different people as possible to donate just $10 (or more) to the Sundance Association for Country-Western Dancing, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that brings country-western dance lessons and events to the LGBT+ community and its friends.

Sundance is in a competition for the greatest number of unique donors to contribute between June 1 and June 30 through the Horizons Foundation Give OUT Day portal. Your $10 gift will help Sundance vie for up to $10,000 in additional grant funding, which is desperately needed to help counter losses from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Sundance Association is best known for its twice-weekly Sundance Saloon event, closed since March, 2020, but hopefully reopening later this year. Sundance Saloon is more than just a place to dance. It is a rare place of unfettered joy, where everyone feels welcome and comfortable, and the foundation of a strong community. I am so proud to be a part of that community.

Like many nonprofit organizations, the Sundance Association has taken significant financial hit this year due to the loss of its primary source of income from the closure of Sundance Saloon. Still, Sundance continues to serve the community through weekly live-stream lessons, twice-weekly outdoor line dance events, and other community-building projects.

Your tax-deductible donation of just $10 could help us reach our goal of 1500 unique donors, and help Sundance remain strong for when we can finally reopen our doors.
