$1,000 to Celebrate my new role as Secretary

Hello Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I'm passionate about supporting Winston-Salem's LGBTQ+ community. Today, I'm raising funds for North Star LGBTQ+ Community Center, our community cornerstone since 2013 that needs our help now more than ever!

In 2024, North Star achieved remarkable milestones—staying open for over 750 hours, hosting 250+ events, and expanding vital programs like the S.A.G.E. Youth Club and the popular Monthly Music Round. The center provides a welcoming space with free WiFi, refreshments, and most importantly, connection.

Your donation will directly support:

• This year's 14th Annual Pride Cookout on June 7th at South Fork Park
• Our first-ever "North Star's Rising Star" amateur drag pageant at Cocktails for a Cause (June 5th)
• Continued growth of our youth programs and community gatherings

Every contribution makes a difference as we work toward our $10,000 Give OUT Day goal. North Star truly serves as a guiding light for our community, especially in these uncertain times.
