Nebraska's state motto is: Equality above the law. Unfortunately, that’s not the reality for all Nebraskans, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community who have been fighting for equal rights for a long time and won't stop until we are heard.
One amazing organization in that fight is OutNebraska. I truly appreciate their work in the state capitol from following the bills to testifying and to training others to share their stories, my personal favorite. They are also working hard to create a safe community for all, statewide. From Pride to the Prairie Pride Film Fest, they offer something for everyone!
