The Dream Songs Project, mezzo-soprano Alyssa Anderson and guitarist Joseph Spoelstra, is a duo dedicated to sharing and growing the repertoire for voice and guitar by working with creators of new music.

Thank you for supporting our work with a donation!

Over the years we've commissioned many great new works for voice and guitar by MN-based and MN-adjacent composers, and now we're working to get those songs out to a broader audience by recording them!

We are thankful to have received grant funding recently to help cover some of the costs of this ongoing recording project. This year we were able to record, edit, and release Yoshi Weinberg's "The Waste Land Part 1" and Katherine Bergman's "The Old Wide Way" - you can check out these recordings at our website.

In January 2026 we are scheduled to return to Wild Sound Recording Studio for a few days to record Dale Trumbore's "X Marks the Dress" and Christopher Gable's "A Minnesota Timetable."

We have nearly all the funding in place for this year's recording project but could use your help to make this project a reality! This year we have a goal to raise $3000 towards recording costs. Can you help us get there?

We're very grateful for all of the support our friends have shown us over the years.
