I'm raising money for API Equality-LA, a grassroots organization that builds community power in LGBTQ Asian and Pacific Islander communities in the greater Los Angeles area. API Equality-LA is trying to raise $15,000 to support its outreach events, community organizing efforts, and public education.
As part of Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community, donations made between June 1 and June 30 count toward my goal. Your donation may even help API Equality-LA earn thousands in additional prize money if they get the most donors!
It would mean a lot to me if you made a donation to API Equality-LA, a critical space for API LGBTQ people to practice collective care and build power together!
Additionally, we are also raising funding for gender affirming care packages created by Project Q, a Black-led nonprofit salon and community center providing services to homeless LGBTQIA+ youth in Los Angeles. Each package costs $131 and we ask that our supporters to make a donation of any amount directly to Project Q at https://www.projectq.me/support.
