Keep the Oasis Open

Youth Oasis is facing a severe budget crisis, and we need to raise $350,000 in the next 90 days to sustain operations for the year.

For years, Youth Oasis has been a place of safety, belonging, and support for young people experiencing homelessness, family separation, foster care involvement, juvenile justice disruption, and other moments when home, school, community, or stability have been interrupted.

We serve youth and young adults ages 11–25, offering prevention, transitional and stabilizing services to pregnant and parenting youth, youth currently in or at risk of juvenile detention, youth currently in and exiting foster care, and any youth that needs support reconnecting to their family and community. 

Our vision is a Louisiana that cares for, supports, and affirms all youth; we are asking our community to help us keep Youth Oasis open, stable, and ready to serve the young people who count on us. 

Our kids deserve safe places, trusted adults, tangible support, safe housing and care that affirms who they are. They deserve a community that invests in its future by investing in its youth.
