New update
We are halfway through the National Give OUT Day 2026 campaign and wanted to share what our beautiful community has made possible so far for Pride Across the Bridge!
As if June 8th, we have raised $1,175 toward building accessible, community-led Pride and queer community spaces on the Eastside!
We are also incredibly excited to announce that Four Elements Realty & Co is partnering with Pride Across the Bridge to offer a donation match of up to $2,300!
That means every dollar donated will now be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of your support!
Thank you Four Elements Realty & Co!
We also treasure any support with getting the supplies we need through our Amazon Wishlist!
Thank you for continuing to show up for and fuel our Eastside 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and support the building of something rooted in care, accessibility, joy, and belonging!
For a long time, the Eastside has been treated like our proximity to Seattle means queer people already have access to everything they need; community, connection, medical care, education. Proximity doesn’t equal access. For many 2SLGBTQIA+ people in East King County, finding affirming healthcare, safe community spaces, chosen family, and even simple opportunities for connection often means leaving home, if they can get there at all. Transportation barriers, financial strain, disability access, safety concerns, and isolation create very real walls between people and the support they deserve.
No one should have to cross a bridge just to feel safe, seen, or supported. That’s why Pride Across the Bridge exists!
We were created to build those spaces here, on the Eastside, in the communities where our queer community already live, work, raise families, and deserve to belong.
What began in 2022 as the Eastside’s first large-scale Pride celebration has grown into something much bigger: more than 300 recurring community events through the year, queer-centered resources, advocacy, educational workshops, intergenerational connection, creative spaces, and programs that remind people they are not alone. Some of our community members tell us these events are the only reason they leave their homes.
In 2026, PAB Pride is growing and moving to Kirkland, an exciting reflection of how much this community has expanded and how deeply this work is needed! :) But growth also brings bigger costs: larger venue needs, accessibility support, ASL interpretation, safety planning, infrastructure, performers, vendors, and the countless details required to create a Pride event that is truly by and for the queer community.
Your support helps bridge the gap between where we are and where our community deserves to be. It helps make sure queer people on the Eastside can find belonging close to home. It helps us continue creating spaces where people are empowered, represented, celebrated, and safe, not just once a year, but all year long.
Everything we do is community-led, community-built, and community-protected! When you support Pride Across the Bridge, you’re joining us in building a future where no one has to leave their own community just to find it.
