The San Diego Pride Military Department began in 2010 with a group of LGBTQ+ Service members, Reservists, Retirees, Veterans, and their Families. Still under the eyes of Don't Ask Don't Tell the members of the original Contingent made a powerful display in the 2010 Pride Parade being the first Pride Military Contingent in the United States.
Now 10 years later the San Diego Pride Military Department continues to serve our local community of San Diego by providing guidance and a home for LGBTQ+ Service members, providing military color gaurds for local and national events, and fundraising for local non-profits.
This year with so much at stake for Our community we would like to invite you to join us and give back to San Diego Pride to support its many programs that run year round.
