As a GSA Network Board member, I'm raising money to support queer and trans youth activists nationwide. The GSA Network (Genders and Sexualities Alliance Network) brings together leaders of GSA clubs nationwide and helps them use their power to bring racial and gender justice to their schools and communities.

Here are some highlights of the GSA Network's work this past year:

• Over 2,000 GSA clubs from across the country registered with the GSA Network.
• Trained 500+ trans & queer youth on how to start a GSA club in school, build supportive communities, and organize for change.
• In California, built a campaign to ensure schools comply with the California Healthy Youth Act and teach inclusive and comprehensive sex education. 
• Last fall, GSA Network hired five GSA Network alumni for our first youth organizing fellowship and they provided direct support and outreach to hundreds of GSA clubs while building their organizing skills
• GSAs across the U.S. are mobilizing and have staged walkouts for their right to self-determination.
