Stepping Stone of San Diego has been saving lives since 1976 as one of the nation’s only nonprofit addiction recovery and mental health programs specializing in LGBTQ+ care. We meet people where they are—with compassion, cultural understanding, and the support they need to heal.

From residential treatment and outpatient programs to counseling, sober-living, housing support, and HIV-related care, we’ve been at the forefront of providing services uniquely tailored to the needs of LGBTQ+ people for nearly 50 years. While we are proudly rooted in the queer community, our doors are open to all who seek recovery and connection.
