Mini Grants $$$ for GSAs/LGBTQ+ Clubs & Students

Youth Freedom Fund

In our current political climate, LGBTQ+ youth are under attack and being used as a wedge issue. With so many challenges and barriers, all power goes to the YOUTH!!! 🙌 They need our support. I am fundraising to specifically build our organization's capacity to provide mini-grants $$$ to GSAs/LGBTQ+ Clubs and Students working towards Racial and Gender Justice in our communities.

I am asking my friends and network to activate your friends and network to join my fundraiser and donate an amount from the donation levels below. The donation levels represent typical cost clubs and students take on. If you are able to donate more than the amount listed, please do 🙏.

Statistics say having a GSA or LGBTQ+ club makes a school a better place for youth who are finding themselves. I experienced this firsthand. In High school, I found my voice and community in a GSA Club. With GSA Network and orgs like GSA Network, I was able to build my leadership skills and use my voice to advocate for myself and others. Eight years ago, I chose to join the GSA Network team because I believe in the work. We are developing the next generation of organizers who will bring our collective vision of liberation in my lifetime or theirs. 

I am asking you to help me with a donation to provide mini-grants $$$ to GSAs/LGBTQ+ Clubs and Students working towards Racial and Gender Justice in our communities.  When you donate you are directly giving GSAs/LGBTQ+ Clubs and Students funds. They will choose how they use the funds. 

Only donations $10 and up will be counted towards the Give Out Day leader board and $$$ prizes. $$$ prizes will be given to the organization from the Horizon Foundation. Let's get these $$$ prizes from the foundation. This fundraiser starts on June 1st and ends on Jun 30th.
