Fuel queer & trans power in the states!

Remember that old "Think globally, act locally" bumper sticker? That's what Equality Federation does! We're thinking about the whole landscape of LGBTQ+ rights across the country AND pouring resources, time, and energy into state organizations so they have what they need to fight the fights on the ground.

You already know this year has been brutal in state legislatures for LGBTQ+ people, ESPECIALLY for trans people. Equality Federation has been there every step of the way for our member organizations and we're here for all the fights ahead. Last year, we provided over 1200 hours of direct support to our state partners through:
- Legislative coaching and strategizing
- Communications messaging and support
- Trainings on digital security, de-escalation and self-defense to keep our communities safer in a time of increased attacks
- Personalized leadership coaching and organizational development support
- Specialized cohorts for HIV advocacy, supporting LGBTQ+ older adults, community organizing, and racial justice
- Role-specific cohorts for staff to connect and strategize with other folks doing similar work across the country
