GiveOUT Day - Pride Month Fundraiser

I joined Equality Virginia right after I graduated from William & Mary in 2018, where I served the campus's LGBTQ community for nearly 4 years. Equality Virginia has given me the tools to become a well-rounded, action-oriented, and thoughtful advocate for LGBTQ equality. I've been honored to be a part of the fight to make Virginia the first state in the South to protect LGBTQ people from discrimination in their daily lives, to ban conversion therapy, to protect transgender students, and so much more! The work is not over however and I hope you will join me in supporting EV so we can empower LGBTQ Virginians, allies, faith communities, and businesses with knowledge about the new legal protections in place on July 1, work with community members, advocates, and officials to implement legal protections, and support additional legislative changes in 2021. We may not be able to meet in person, but EV is putting out regular community and educational events to equip Virginians with the information and tools they need to be effective advocates for LGBTQ equality.
